We have a survey in field that has already started collecting data. My question is when we export, some questionnaires/assignments are generating blank rosters (that is some assignments are generating extra rosters with no information from all questions in the roster). When I check the assignments on the dashboard as supervisor or headquarters the questionnaire for example which is showing 3 persons in questionnaire now has 5 persons in the export with 2 blank extra rows. What could be the problem?

Are you running your survey on local server or our cloud? If on the cloud, what is the name of that server? If local, what version of Survey Solutions you are using?
More complicated way: please let us know what is the name of your questionnaire and where exactly (what roster) you observe these blank rows. We will try replicating it on our side.
Easier way: if you can give us temporary access to your server, we can just go in and look what is going on.
But, please confirm that this is an inconvenience rather than a problem. In a worst case scenario you can just delete these empty rows after you export your data. No data loss is here. Please confirm if my understanding is correct.
please inspect the paradata for this interview and see if the roster was earlier set to a larger number of items (persons), which were subsequently deleted.

We managed to reproduce your problem. This is a bug in our system. We will release a fix in the upcoming release 18.06 at around June 4th.
